FINANCIAL AID FAQ
Q: Does Valley Forge Military Academy offer financial aid?
A: VFMA offers limited financial aid, primarily for domestic boarding students. Unfortunately, we do not provide financial aid for Day Students, International Students, or mid-year enrollments.
Q: How much financial aid is typically awarded?
A: Financial aid awards are modest and intended to assist with a portion of tuition costs. Awards for domestic boarding students generally do not exceed $9,000 per academic year. In order to be considered for an award, families must complete a financial aid application through Clarity once their child has been accepted to Valley Forge Military Academy. This will help us assess eligibility and determine the appropriate award amount.
Q: Does VFMA accept FAFSA or Sallie Mae loans?
A: VFMA does not accept FAFSA, Pell Grants, or Sallie Mae loans, as these programs are designed for higher education institutions.
Q: Is VFMA government-funded?
A: No, VFMA is a private non-profit institution and does not receive government funding. Tuition, fees, and donations support our programs.
Q: What other funding options are available?
A: We encourage families to explore external scholarship opportunities and private education loans. For a list of external scholarships, visit our Academy Scholarships page.
