Leadership Development

At its core, Valley Forge Military Academy is a leadership institution. Leadership is the foundation of everything we do, woven into every aspect of our programs and campus life. Through onsite and offsite leadership development programs, including JROTC, the Corps of Cadets, and Outward Bound, cadets are challenged to understand and embrace leadership roles.

Leadership development starts the moment a new cadet steps onto campus. From day one, cadets take responsibility for their behavior, living space, uniform, and assignments. This focus on accountability lays the foundation for self-discipline, which is continually strengthened in an environment where competition, collaboration, and achievement are part of everyday life.

Through these programs, your son will not only learn what it means to be a strong leader but will also experience the rewards that come with responsibility, teamwork, and personal growth.
