Peter Viscardo is the Co-Founder and CEO of Marathon Trading, where he oversees investment strategy, risk management, and overall firm operations. With over 25 years of experience in derivatives trading, Peter has built a career specializing in market making and risk management.

Before launching Marathon Trading, Peter spent a decade at Susquehanna International Group (SIG), one of the world’s premier trading firms. At SIG, he served as a market maker, specialist, and risk manager, honing his expertise in options and financial markets. Peter earned his B.A. in Economics from Dartmouth College in 1999, with a minor in Mathematics. During his time at Dartmouth, he was a dedicated member of the cross-country
and track teams.

An avid endurance athlete, Peter has completed 11 full Ironman triathlons along with numerous Half Ironman, marathon, and half marathon races. His passion for competition and discipline extends beyond his professional and athletic endeavors—he is also a dedicated volunteer baseball and softball coach.

Peter lives in Wayne, PA, with his wife and two children. He is an active supporter of local schools and youth sports organizations, continually giving back to his community through mentorship and philanthropy.
