Cadets recognized at Union League during Found Forward’s Good Citizen Day

Cadets Kaljahn Jordan and Malik Graniela were recently recognized as recipients of the Good Citizenship Award during Good Citizen Day at the Union League of Philadelphia.

The event is an all-day civic education program hosted annually by Founding Forward at The Union League. Cadets Jordan and Graniela were two of approximately 260 11th-grade students who participated after they were nominated.

The Good Citizen Award aims to recognize, educate, and motivate high school students who demonstrate the qualities of a responsible American citizen. During the event, our cadets gained an in-depth understanding of the Constitution and its vital role in a setting deeply linked to one of our country’s defining periods: Abraham Lincoln’s presidency and the war to end slavery and preserve the Union.
