Honors Courses: Cadets earning Gold or Silver Star status (88 percent GPA and higher) in corresponding subject areas are qualified for honors
courses. Cadets with Red Star status (85-88 percent) may request an honors level course and will be considered after a review by the honors level
teacher and the department chair.
VFMC Courses: Cadets in grades 11 & 12 who have earned Gold or Silver Star status are eligible to take courses at Valley Forge Military College.
On occasion, Cadets in grade 10 may be considered after an interview with the college course professor and dean. VFMC courses are part of a dual
enrollment program; Cadets earn both high school and college credit.
Valley Forge Military Academy Online High School (VFMOHS)
Valley Forge Military Academy has an innovative partnership with Citizens High School, a leader in online high school education, to establish the
Valley Forge Military Academy Online High School (VFMOHS). Online courses in a variety of subject areas are offered to VFMA Cadets; credit is
awarded on their VFMA transcripts. Course listing is available at www.vfmaohs.com.
