Cadets visit Costa Rica

A group of 12 Academy Cadets recently returned from their trip to Costa Rica! Mr. Rosato and Mr. Lewis chaperoned the nine-day trip to the cities of San Jose, La Fortuna, Montverde, and Tamarindo.

Cadets had the opportunity to explore the amazing natural beauty as well as local businesses and cuisine and immerse themselves in the culture of another country!

Their activities included:

• Visiting a fresh food market and fruit stand

• Touring a pineapple farm

• A boat ride on Rio Frio

• Horseback riding

• Sugar cane making

• Walk on hanging bridge over cloud rainforest

• Zipline free fall jump

• Wellness tour

• And more!

This is a unique annual opportunity for select cadets, which helps them develop independence and become more familiar with and connect to a different part of the world!
